Description

This Japanese main features Vinegar, Salt. The flavors come together beautifully. Great for weeknight dinners or when you want something satisfying for the whole family. Simple to make with ingredients you likely already have on hand, this is a recipe you will come back to again and again.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Filet out the he middle portion from back to front.
  2. Marinate for one day in a mixture of salt and 5% vinegar until the surface of the fish is "cooked" (like seviche).
  3. Freeze overnight and then slice thin and serve.
  4. I didn't get the proportions of salt and vinegar but I am assuming that it is very similar to what I use for pickling fish
