Directions
-
Preheat oven to 350&# 194;°F (175ðC).
-
Open the ham package and remove all paper, plastic, and netting.
-
Score the ham by cutting diagonal slashes all over the rind in a cross-hatch pattern to create diamond shapes.
-
Poke a hole in the center of each diamond with a toothpick and insert a whole clove into each hole.
-
Open the can of pineapple and drain the juice into a small bowl, reserving the juice for the glaze.
-
Arrange pineapple slices on top of the ham and secure each slice in place with a toothpick.
-
In a small bowl, mix the reserved pineapple juice, honey, brown sugar, and dry mustard until well combined.
-
Place an oven cooking bag in a roasting pan and sprinkle the tablespoon of flour inside the bag, shaking to coat the bottom.
-
Insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part of the ham, ensuring it does not touch bone.
-
Place the ham inside the cooking bag and pour the glaze mixture over the ham.
-
Close the bag according to package instructions and make six small slits in the top of the bag to allow steam to escape.
-
Bake in the preheated oven until the meat thermometer reads 140ðF (60ðC), approximately 15-20 minutes per pound.
-
Remove from oven, let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Note
Ensure the ham is fully cooked to an internal temperature of 140ðF for safety and best texture.
If you do not have an oven cooking bag, you can cover the ham tightly with aluminum foil for the first half of cooking, then uncover to glaze.
For a darker glaze, brush additional glaze onto the ham during the last 30 minutes of baking.
Leftover ham can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Feel free to substitute brown sugar with maple syrup for a different flavor profile.
