  1. Line 9" pie plate with pastry;chill.
  2. Dissolve soda and water;
  3. beat into molasses.
  4. Blend in egg yolk;
  5. pour into pie crust.
  6. Combine remaining ingredients to
  7. make crumbs.
  8. Sprinkle over pie.
  9. Bake in preheated 400 degree oven for about 10 minutes or until crust begins to brown.
  10. Reduce temperature to 325 degrees;
  11. bake until top is firm
