Directions

  1. Rinse beans, cover in water & bring to a boil.
  2. Cook for 3 minutes, remove from heat & let sit for 1 hour.
  3. Drain & rinse.
  4. Cover with fresh water, bring back to a boil & cook for 30 minutes.
  5. Drain & set side.
  6. Saute chile flakes in oil for 1 minute.
  7. Add green onions, celery, garlic & beans.
  8. Cook over medium heat, stirring, for 5 minutes.
  9. Stir in the tomatoes.
  10. Reduce heat & simmer for 30 minutes.
  11. Serve hot
