Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 250&# 194;°F (120ðC). Grease a 10-inch springform pan.
  2. Mix melted butter with Oreo cookie crumbs until combined.
  3. Press the crumb mixture firmly over the bottom and slightly up the sides of the springform pan.
  4. Chill the crust in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.
  5. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and mascarpone on low speed until smooth and creamy.
  6. Add granulated sugar and vanilla extract; beat until well combined and smooth.
  7. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition until just incorporated.
  8. Remove one-third of the cheese mixture and set aside in a separate bowl.
  9. Fold the warm, melted chocolate into the remaining two-thirds of the cheese mixture until evenly combined.
  10. Pour the chocolate cheese mixture into the prepared crust.
  11. Transfer the reserved plain cheese mixture into a piping bag.
  12. Pipe large dollops of the plain cheese mixture onto the chocolate batter, starting with a large dot in the center and adding smaller dots around the cake and rim.
  13. Bake for 1 1/2 hours, or until the center is firm.
  14. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool inside with the door slightly ajar for 1 hour, then chill completely.
  15. For the sauce, blend lychee fruit and lemon juice in a food processor until smooth.
  16. Serve each slice surrounded by a pool of the lychee sauce.
