Stewed Cauliflower In Cream Sauce
Description
This elegant yet simple side dish transforms humble cauliflower into a restaurant-quality meal. The florets are quickly stir-fried to retain their crunch before being stewed in a savory stock and sherry base. A touch of milk is stirred in at the end to create a luscious, creamy sauce that clings beautifully to the vegetables. The addition of Tientsin cabbage and green onions provides fresh, crisp contrast to the rich sauce. It pairs perfectly with rice or noodles, making it an ideal centerpiece for a weeknight dinner or a light lunch. The subtle sweetness of the vegetables balances the savory depth of the garlic and stock.Ingredients
