  1. Cut 3 parallel, lengthwise, 1-inch deep slits in each turkey breast half.
  2. Place turkey breast halves flat in a buttered roasting pan.
  3. Cut dates in thirds.
  4. Cut apricot halves in fourths.
  5. Combine dates, apricots and remaining ingredients in saucepan.
  6. Heat, stirring constantly.
  7. Simmer 2 minutes, stirring.
  8. Cool slightly.
  9. Fill slits in turkey with fruit mixture.
  10. Roast in preheated 325-degree oven 2 hours.
  11. Cut each breast half in 6 slices
