Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375&# 194;°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Thaw phyllo dough according to package directions, keeping it covered with a damp towel to prevent drying out.
  3. Slice the Spam into 1/4-inch thick pieces, then cut each piece diagonally to create triangles.
  4. In a small bowl, combine crumbled feta cheese, minced garlic, and snipped fresh dill. Mix well.
  5. Cut phyllo dough sheets into strips approximately 3 to 4 inches wide.
  6. Layer two strips of phyllo dough together. Lightly spray or brush butter-flavored oil between the layers.
  7. Place one Spam triangle at one end of the dough strip. Top with 1 teaspoon of the feta mixture.
  8. Fold the dough over the filling, tucking in the sides to create a triangular pastry, similar to folding a flag.
  9. Lightly spray or brush the top of each pastry with butter-flavored oil.
  10. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.
