Peach Upside-Down Mufflns
Description
These Peach Upside-Down Muffins are a delightful twist on the classic cobbler, offering individual portions of warm, fruity goodness. The batter is light and airy, providing a perfect contrast to the rich, buttery caramel layer at the bottom. Fresh ripe peaches soften during baking, releasing their natural juices into the sugar and butter to create a sticky, golden glaze. Ideal for summer brunches, potlucks, or as a comforting dessert after a light meal, these muffins capture the essence of home baking. They are simple to prepare using pantry staples and fresh fruit, making them an accessible treat for any occasion.Ingredients

Note
Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days, or in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Reheat gently in the microwave before serving.
Substitutions: You can use fresh or frozen peaches. If using frozen, thaw and drain excess liquid before slicing. Apples or pears can also be used as a seasonal alternative.
Tip: For easier release, ensure the caramel layer is fully melted before adding the fruit. If the muffins stick, run a knife around the edges before inverting.
Variation: Add a teaspoon of lemon juice to the peaches to brighten the flavor, or sprinkle with cinnamon for added warmth.
